Esmaeil is an experienced and highly skilled trial and appellate lawyer, regularly appearing at all levels of Courts in Ontario. He has been counsel on numerous civil and criminal trials and has represented clients in jury trials facing serious criminal charges.
Esmaeil was called to the Bar in 2011 after articling for a large national firm. He has a Juris Doctor from the University Of Windsor Faculty Of Law and a Bachelor of Medical Sciences from the University of Western Ontario.
Esmaeil has been an instructor for the trial advocacy Course at Osgoode Hall Law School. He is also a member of Law Society of Ontario and Criminal Lawyers Association.
Alex joined Mehrabi Law office as an articling student in 2019, and returned as an associate in 2021. In her time with the firm Alex has assisted on various criminal and civil litigation files at the Ontario Court of Justice, Superior Court, and Court of Appeal.
Alex received her Juris Doctor with first class distinction at Bond University, and subsequently obtained a Master of Laws from Osgoode Hall at York University. Prior to her legal studies, Alex graduated from Western University with a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in both Psychology and Criminology.
